The Zaplet help desk
Privacy policy
Effective October 16, 2026
Zaplet is provided by TheSpiderDev. This policy covers the iOS and Android game and this website. Contact om.spider.dev@gmail.com with a privacy question or request.
Your circuit progress stays on your device. The game uses Google AdMob for advertising and RevenueCat to verify purchases. This website has no gameplay analytics, advertising scripts or contact forms.
Game data on your device
Zaplet stores level stars, your last level, daily challenge progress, Free Build circuits and preferences for music, sounds, haptics, voice and day/night appearance on your device. We do not operate player accounts, gameplay analytics or developer-managed cloud saves.
The circuit engine and its artwork are bundled in the app; it does not load an externally hosted game. Operating-system backups may include local data, depending on your device settings. Clearing app storage or uninstalling may remove this progress.
Advertising and consent
Google AdMob displays a bottom banner, occasional interstitial ads at breaks after completed levels, and rewarded videos only when you choose an extra video hint. A verified Remove Ads purchase hides banners and interstitials and makes extra hints available without videos. Free board hints remain available.
Google’s advertising services may process IP addresses, approximate location inferred from IP, device or advertising identifiers, ad interactions, diagnostic information and technical information to deliver, measure and secure ads. Non-personalized ads can still involve personal data and local storage. Processing depends on consent, device settings and the providers’ services.
The current game requests non-personalized, G-rated ads. Google’s User Messaging Platform checks consent before ad initialization. Where Google requires privacy options, you can reopen them from Settings. The app does not request Apple’s tracking permission or deliberately access IDFA. Development builds use test ads.
Read Google’s privacy policy, how Google uses information from apps and Google Mobile Ads data disclosures.
Purchases and restoring ownership
Apple or Google processes store payments. We do not receive full payment-card details. RevenueCat verifies purchase receipts or tokens and maintains Remove Ads ownership using an anonymous app customer identifier, product and transaction identifiers, purchase history and technical request information.
The current game does not send your name, email or a custom profile to RevenueCat. Restoring purchases restores eligible ownership associated with your store account; it does not restore locally saved circuits or stars. Purchase availability depends on the configured store product.
Read RevenueCat’s privacy policy, Apple’s privacy policy and Google’s privacy policy. Provider records follow their own retention practices and applicable obligations.
This website
This is a static website. Its circuit demonstration runs in your browser and does not send its state to a server. Images and fonts are hosted with the site. There are no website analytics scripts, ad SDKs, tracking cookies or mailing-list forms added by us.
The hosting provider processes ordinary network requests, which can include IP addresses, browser headers, requested URLs and operational logs, to deliver and secure the website. Private preview hosting may require authentication and use necessary login or security cookies. External links open services with their own policies.
Support, retention and sharing
When you email us, we receive your email address and the information you include. We use it to respond and resolve the request, retaining correspondence while needed for that purpose and applicable obligations. Do not send passwords, full card numbers or unnecessary sensitive information.
Local progress remains until removed from the device, subject to backups. Store and RevenueCat purchase records may remain to restore ownership, prevent fraud or meet obligations. We do not sell the contents of support emails or locally saved circuits. Advertising providers’ processing and your regional rights are described in their policies.
Your choices and requests
- Change music, sounds, haptics, voice and appearance in Settings.
- Choose whether to watch an optional rewarded video.
- Review available ad privacy options and device advertising permissions.
- Clear local app data using your device settings.
- Contact us to request access to, correction of or deletion of information we control.
Rights and exceptions depend on your location and the information involved. See Your data & deletion for practical instructions. We may need enough information to verify and locate your request.
Families and children
Zaplet is intended for a general audience, including families. The game does not require a player account or ask for a birth date, name or email address. Parents and guardians should supervise purchases and advertising choices using device and store controls. If you believe a child has provided personal information through support, contact us so we can review and address it.
Changes
We will update this policy when the game’s data practices change and revise the effective date above.
